Welcome to Cologne Zoo - Part I.
To take a good shot of this two lovely rhinos was somehow difficult. The visitors can watch them through a big window glass. But of course such glasses are always clawed and dirty - it's impossible to get a good photography.
So, I walked around and found a big wooden fence on one side. This fence is ignored by the common visitor because you can only see small extracts. But it was perfect for me and my 300mm lens. I had to kneel down and shot from a very low angle. In the foreground you can still see a part of the fence.
I think I have to add that the day was quite cloudy and to get clear photographs I set the ISO to 400. I never shot with a ISO higher than 100 and I was a bit afraid that you can see some grain, but everything's fine.
Hope you enjoy this photograph and come back.
See you.
Bettina
